Bicycling


Bring the following items for the ride and check these items the night before

  1. Bike Helmet – please!!!
  2. Two (2) tubes and flat tire kit
  3. Band aid
  4. Cell phone
  5. Energy bars and energy drinks (2 water bottles)
  6. Money for more food/drinks, BART
  7. Bike jersey or fabric that wicks the sweat out – no cotton shirts! Dress in layers.
  8. Skinny road tires; not fat mountain biking tires
  9. ID, medical card
  10. Ibuprofen or Aspirin, Claritin, inhalers, Tums

Please check your tires for glass; and pump your tires between 110 to 120 psi before you leave. You need to check the maximum amount of pressure for your tire. Check your brakes!
